Our flagship Bolette is everything that our loyal guests have come to expect from a Fred. Olsen ship. Proudly bearing the name of Fred. Olsen Jr.’s great-great-grandmother, as many other Olsen vessels have over the years, she exudes classic, elegant style in her exterior and interior design, features spacious and comfortable public areas, and has all the facilities and special touches you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

While she’s one of the largest ships, by overall size, in our fleet, Bolette has capacity for less than 1,400 guests. So, in keeping with our smaller-ship ethos, you’ll find that you’re not overcrowded on board, Show lessand have plenty of space in which to indulge yourself in the stylish dining venues, enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple and fantastic entertainment at the bars, lounges and theatres, and while away the hours by the all-season pool. And of course, with our friendly staff providing our typical level of personal, attentive service, there’s an intimate feel to the on board experience too.

Cabin Types

	Superior Ocean View Cabin (B) Our Superior Ocean View cabins are found on Deck 3. All featuring a large ocean view window. These cabins are approximately 214 square feet in size. The bedroom consists of two single beds which can be converted into one queen-size bed, while the bathroom has both a bath and shower.
	Superior Ocean View Wheelchair Adapted (BD) These Superior Ocean View adapted cabins can be found on Decks 3 and 6 and are approximately 214 square feet in size. The rooms consist of two single beds that can be converted into a queen-size bed, with the bathroom featuring a roll-in shower only.
	Junior Balcony Suite (BJ) Bolette's Balcony Junior Suites are a welcoming, comfortable space. Guests will find ample room to relax, and all the amenities they need during their stay, plus a private balcony for soaking up sunshine and scenery outside. Deck: Highland Deck 6 Size: 244 square feet (approx.) 	Balcony Junior Suite Wheelchair Adapted (BJD) Bolette's Balcony Junior Suites are a welcoming, comfortable space. 	Balcony Suites (BS) Our Balcony Suites are located on Deck 6 and are approximately 283 square feet in size. The bedroom feature two single beds that can be converted into one queen-size bed, while the bathroom features a bath & shower (unless indicated as shower only). There is a sitting area with floor to ceiling windows that lead to a private balcony. A mini-bar and refrigerator are also included in our Balcony Suites.
	Superior Ocean View Cabin (C) Our Superior Ocean View cabins can be found on Deck 2, midship, and are approximately 214 square feet in size. Each cabin features a large ocean view with a window, while the bedroom consist of two single beds that can be converted into a queen-size bed. The bathroom features a shower.
	Superior Ocean View Fully Restricted (CO) These cabins can be found on Deck 3 and feature a picture window, but with a fully obstructed view. They are approximately 214 square feet in size. The cabins feature two single beds which can be converted into a queen-size bed and a bathroom with shower .
	Ocean View Cabin (D) These Ocean View cabins can be found on Decks 1 and 2 and are approximately 214 square feet in size. These cabins feature large picture windows. The bedrooms consist of two single beds which can be converted into a queen-size bed while the bathrooms feature both a bath and shower.
	Ocean View Cabin (E) These Ocean View cabins can be found on Decks 1 and 2 and are approximately 214 square feet in size. These cabins feature large picture windows. The bedrooms consist of two single beds which can be converted into a queen-size bed while the bathrooms feature both a bath and shower.
	Ocean View Cabin with Porthole (F) Situated forward and aft on Coral Deck 2 and Marina Deck 1, Bolette's F Grade Ocean View cabins feature porthole windows that not only bathe the interior in natural light, but also provides guests with fantastic ocean views. 	Interior Cabin (H) Situated on decks 2 and 1 H Grade Interior cabins on Bolette have all the amenities and comforts guests need, and are positioned close to the ship's stairs and lifts, providing easy access to the other decks and their public areas. 	Olsen Suite (OW) As the largest of Bolette’s suites and cabins, the elegantly appointed Olsen Suite offers the most space and amenities of all the guest accommodation on board our flagship. Cruise Line

The company originated in Hvitsten, a small town on Oslofjord in Norway, in 1848 when three Olsen brothers – Fredrik Christian, Petter and Andreas – bought their first ships and began an international shipping company.

Now into the fifth generation of the family, they operate companies skilled in various aspects of the cruise and passenger shipping trade as well as aviation, ships’ crewing, shipbuilding and offshore industries.
